It’s really annoying when you open a csv file and you do not see the data in the right columns, all the data appear in the first column. Luckily the solution for this is really easy.
First select the first column, then select the tab “Data” and press the button “Text to Columns” in the Ribbon.
In the Columns Wizard press next at the first step keeping the default data type “Delimeted“. In Step 2 select the correct Delimiters and press “Finish”.
Now the CSV will be displayed with the data in the correct columns.
