Microsoft lists are a great tool for making lists with several people at once. You can make them the lists in the dedicated app on your desktop or mobile phone. You can also integrate the lists into Teams. If you create an idea list in Microsoft Lists, it can also be useful to be able to vote on a particular idea. In this blog post, I will show you how to add rating to Microsoft Lists.


1. In the Office portal select in the top Microsoft lists and open a list. Select the cog and select “List settings”.

2. Select “Rating settings”

3. Enable Rating by selecting “Yes” (1) and select the voting experience you would like to use Stars 1/5 or likes (2). Press “OK” (3) to continue.

4. You will return to the settings page. Select “Improvement ideas” to return to your list.

5. A new column “Number of Likes (or stars) has been added where you vote and can see the number of likes or a rating from 1 to 5 stars.
